How Phoenix was born
The inspiration to create an online/offline platform for enthusiastic Spanish learners struck when I received numerous requests for online classes. Initially, I conducted these classes via Skype, which was fun and engaging. However, as the demand grew, time constraints and differing time zones made it challenging to accommodate everyone. The COVID-19 pandemic brought a significant shift; it gave me the opportunity to research and find ways to make teaching more efficient. That’s when I discovered Moodle. I decided to utilize Moodle to create a comprehensive platform for Spanish lovers, enabling them to learn independently, regardless of their location or time constraints. This platform allows everyone to progress at their own pace, and thus, Phoenix was born.
